Every order will receive a copy of the Recipes for Building a Community Zine. However, you do not need to purchase anything to recieve this zine. 

There are 5 recipes in this zine that are easily scalable and changeable to make food for your neighbors.

Page 1: Recipes for Building a Community

Page 2: Right now, many people are scared because things feel uncertain. Even in certain times, you should know your neighbors. And the easiest way to do that? Bring them food!
When I share food, I want everyone to feel considered and cared for. That's why I've included a variety of dishes that can accommodate different dietary needs.
I hope you enjoy these recipes and use them to make friends with your neighbors. During hard times, people helping people is what brings good times, even in hard situations.
Page 3: NO BAKE COOKIES (16-24 cookies)
1 Cup Sugar
4 Tbsp (1/2 Stick) Butter
1 Tbsp + 1.5 tsp Cocoa
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Peanut Butter (PB) (Sub nut/seed butter)
1 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
Vanilla, Salt, to taste
Boil the sugar, butter, cocoa, & milk for 1min. Mix in the PB and oats w/ chocolate 
Drop by spoonful onto wax paper & let cool. Add 1 min to boil if using nondairy products.
Page 4: TOMATO SOUP (6-8 servings)
2 (24-ounce) jars tomato purée
3/4 cup heavy cream
Freshly ground black pepper, dried basil, salt, garlic powder, to taste
Pour the tomato purée into a medium saucepan. Stir in the heavy cream and seasonings.
Bring to a simmer and then reduce heat to low, stirring and cooking for 5 to 10 min.
Serve hot.
Page 5: PIZZA DOUGH (3 Personal Pizzas)
1 tsp Dry Pizza Yeast 
1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup
2/3 cup Warm Water
1 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Olive Oil
3/4 to 1 cup Flour
Mix yeast, honey, & water. Let stand for 5 min. Add flour. Add salt & olive oil. Add the remaining flour. Knead dough until smooth. Cover & let rise for 1hr. Preheat oven to max heat. Oil a dark, heavy pan or pizza stone. Bake for 7-20 min, until crust is golden. 
Page 6: MAC AND CHEESE (8 servings)
24 oz elbow macaroni (works with rice elbows)
24 oz evaporated milk (2 cans)
24 oz grated cheese(s) of choice
Tony’s or spice blend w/ salt to taste
Place mac in a pan, & pour in just enough cold water to cover it. Season. Boil until the water is gone, about 6 min. Add evaporated milk. Reduce until creamy, about 2min, and add cheese of choice. 
Serve or add cheese to the top of the pan & place into an oven at 350F for 15 min, until the top is browned.
Page 7: ROASTED BROCCOLI 
Broccoli crowns
Salt, a little more than you think you need
White vinegar, ~2 caps per crown
A healthy drizzle of olive oil, enough to coat them but not enough to pool in the bowl
Garlic, minced, to taste
Ginger, pressed, to taste
OR Garlic Ginger Paste
Oven at 375F, roast setting if you have it. Toss together. Put on a baking sheet. Roast for 10-15 min, until you smell it.
